Moved by faith, or simply for the pleasure of nature. The pilgrimage to Fatima is purely magical. In 1917, three shepherds witnessed several apparitions of the Virgin of the Rosary. Nowadays, the shrine of Fatima has become a reference point of Marian devotion and to which pilgrims from all over the world attend.

The date of the first apparition is the day chosen for the main celebrations of Fatima and one of the most important moments is the Procession of the Candles, when the sanctuary square is filled with thousands of candles of the faithful. Many pilgrims make the trip on foot through rural roads, guided by their faith, to fulfill promises, or there are those who simply seek to walk admiring a silent environment enjoying the nature and wonderful hospitable people.
